The City Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCCDEECFGH

A white bird is the big skyA
Under it a cowering city staresB
The houses are half dead old peopleC
A gaunt carriage horse gapes grumpilyC
Winds skinny dogs run weaklyC
Their skins squeel on sharp cornersD
In a street a crazed man groans You oh youE
If only I could find youE
A crowd around him is surprised and grins derisivelyC
Three little people play blind man's bluffF
A gentle tear stained god lays the grey powdery handsG
Of afternoon over everythingH
