Rainy Night Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOMPQMR STUM

The day is ruined The sky is drunkA
Like false pearls little stumpsB
Of chopped up light lie around and revealC
A glimpse of streets a few clumps of housesD
Everything else is rotten and devouredE
By a black fog which like a wallF
Falls down and is rotten And the rainG
Crumbles like rubble in the grip thick grayH
As though the whole contaminated darknessI
Wanted at every moment to sinkJ
Down in a swamp you see an auto flashK
Like a strange drunken plantL
The oldest whores come crawlingM
Along out of wet shadows tubercular toadsN
There goes one creeping by Over there a pig is being stabbedO
The gushing rain wants to wipe out everythingM
But you are wandering through the waste landsP
Your dress hangs heavy Your shoes are soakedQ
Your eye is mad with greed and screamingM
And this urges you on and you have no peaceR
Perhaps in the midst of dark fireS
The devil himself appears in the form of a pigT
Perhaps something completely horribleU
Foolish brutal nasty is happeningM
