Morning Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKL

And all the streets lie smooth and shining thereA
Only occasionally does a solid citizen hurry along themB
A swell girl argues violently with PapaC
A baker happens to be looking at the lovely skyD
The dead sun wide and thick hangs on the housesE
Four fat wives screech in front of a barF
A carriage driver falls and breaks his neckG
And everything is boringly bright healthy and clearH
A gentleman with wise eyes hovers confused in the darkI
A failing god in this picture that he forgotJ
Perhaps did not notice he mutters this and that Dies And laughsK
Dreams of a stroke paralysis osteoporosisL
