After The Ball Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIAJ

Night creeps into the cellars musty and dullA
Tuxedos totter through the rubble of the streetB
Faces are moldy and worn outC
The blue morning burns coolly in the cityD
How quickly music and dance and greed meltedE
It smells of the sun And day beginsF
With trolleys horses shouts and windG
Dull daily labor cloaks the people in dustH
Families silently wolf down lunchI
At times a hall still vibrates through a skullA
Much dull desire and a silken legJ
