Trees Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BB CC DD EE FF BB

For Mrs Henry Mills AldenA
-
-
-
I think that I shall never seeB
A poem lovely as a treeB
-
A tree whose hungry mouth is prestC
Against the earth's sweet flowing breastC
-
A tree that looks at God all dayD
And lifts her leafy arms to prayD
-
A tree that may in Summer wearE
A nest of robins in her hairE
-
Upon whose bosom snow has lainF
Who intimately lives with rainF
-
Poems are made by fools like meB
But only God can make a treeB
