Sleep Peacefully Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA ACBA DAAE AFD

You said the word that enamorsA
My hearing You already forgot GoodB
Sleep peacefully Your face shouldB
Be serene and beautiful at all hoursA
-
When the seductive mouth enchantsA
It should be fresh your speech pleasantC
For your office as lover it's not goodB
That many tears come from your faceA
-
More glorious destinies reclaim youD
That were brought between the black wellsA
Of the dark circles beneath your eyesA
the seer in painE
-
The bottom summit of the beautiful victimsA
The foolish spade of some barbarous kingF
Did more harm to the world and your statueD
