In The Sea Of High Grass Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEF ABAB GH I

In the sea of high grass you'll be sunk with your headA
In the house with peace come alongB
She'll embrace with her arms veil around with her plaitC
'Hi my prince ' she will say slim and strongB
-
She will tell you again 'Here are charms of the roseD
Here the dodder was waving his curlsE
What the news have you brought in what lands have been lostF
Who dislikes us who likes who sends curse '-
-
As before you forget that the days go aheadA
As before you excuse loft and wrongB
And you see as the clouds at distance are spreadA
And you hear the villages' songB
-
For the far lands your heart will bemoan its pleaG
To the battle will call and enticeH
She will say 'Farewell And again come to me '-
And again bells sing songs behind grassI
