| But its adventures could fill books page by page | B |
| Lives properties and others to redeem | A |
| Everyone living to his own advantage | C |
| Overlooking the extant of the destitute and the old | D |
| So many other stories left untold | D |

| The high and mighty wanting things their way | E |
| The young and immature prying for fame | F |
| Poor and aged anxious about the next day | E |
| The affluent and privileged yearning to remain the same | F |
| But nothing is ever permanent | G |
| This is why we need not be insolent and impertinent | G |
