Plague Of Dead Sharks Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRAS

Who knows whether the sea heals or corrodesA
The wading wintered pack beasts of the feetB
slough off in spring the dead rind of the shoesC
leather detention the big toe s yellow hornD
shines with a natural polish and the wholeE
person seems to profit The opposite appearsF
when dead sharks wash up along the beachG
for no known reason What is more builtH
for winning than the swept back teethI
water finished fins and pure bad eyesJ
these old efficient forms of appetiteK
are dressed in Yet it looks as if the seaL
digested what it wished of them with viral easeM
and threw up what was left to stink and dryN
If this shows how the sea approaches lifeO
in its propensity to feed as animal entireP
then sharks are comforts feet are terrifiedQ
but they vacation in the mystery and why notR
Who knows whether the sea heals or corrodesA
what the sun burns up of it the moon puts backS
