Pangs Of Slavery. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIAJKLMNONPN

In an inky roomA
Blank in black sightsB
Captivity reigns in a a Nebuchadnezzar like mannerC
Oozing around in low tunes and hurtful lyricsD
Oceans of black heads were flanked byE
Chains tied around their arms and padlocks in their embedded mouthsF
Pregnant with words that could ignite the ire of their captivesG
It remained sealedH
For years the grave like atmosphere in their closed mouths pinioned arms isI
characteristically associated with their climeA
A world where death is the fastest escape from natural restrictionsJ
To them death is life and life is deathK
The thoughts of freedom is like setting a mansion ablazeL
For their hopes crumbled down at the sights of wicked skinny white menM
Hopes become lifeless when death wish rules the mindN
Just as these thoughts raced through their mindsO
To their utmost dismay a voice in rich English accent exclaimed 'push them to the ships they are moving to the new world'N
Tears trickled down their swollen eyes voluntarilyP
For what lies ahead for them is greater than their present stateN
