Rhyme Scheme: ABBCDEEFGBHIBJKJLMNH OPQJGQJRQQNSTTIINQU

Dark as charcoal has been one of the trending qualitiesA
For recognizing meB
All I know is to cry in the tending arm that loves meB
Have I been weanedC
Can I stand on my ownD
Can I represent you wellE
Can I represent my race wellE
I began my journey withoutF
Having a clue of what lies aheadG
Life becomes an unsolved mysteryB
Home As people call itH
I never dreamt of oneI
Under the bridge becomes a place of abode for meB
Today I m the ownerJ
Tomorrow I m a squatter accommodating squattersK
Fate knows when the edge of the coin will be turned to bring me favorJ
I concluded that being in a relationship is the only option leftL
Kudos Real relationship or tending bondM
Is this my raceN
I learnt to lay a bed in order to lie on itH
But which bed do I want to lie onO
Is it the bed that has become an end to meetP
Is it the bed that has become season La LigaQ
Is it the bed that serves as an exchange for lucreJ
Can you offer me a new bedG
This is not where I belongQ
This is not my true colorJ
Continuous drop of water can fill a bucketR
But how longQ
Do I need a Google map to locate where I belongQ
I need someone to put a smile on my faceN
This is not where I emanateS
My root is deepT
Oh Very deepT
I m a NigerianI
I m an AfricanI
I can t change my raceN
But I can be transformed into a new beingQ
But HowU
