Limelight Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC DEE FGHI GGA JKKG GLG GH

Living in the terror of the nightA
And weeping in the scroching sun of the dayB
Our flaws kept us movingC
-
Even though we were rejectedD
We cried and screamE
As if it was as a dreamE
-
Ous agony risesF
The heavens could feel our painG
But the nature we found ourself in was imbalanceH
Making us look tattered in our worriesI
-
Luckily after so much humilationG
And so many rejectionG
We came into lightA
-
From the grass to the topJ
We crept in mightilyK
And past memories sounded like an historyK
Never to be forgottenG
-
Our fears went hiddenG
A bright light shown brightly on usL
And the darkness in us was goneG
-
We were once known for our extinctionG
But now we had an existenceH
