| That I'm free to shed my cheerful facade | B |
| Free to wallow in self pity and gloom | C |
| Days that the darkness that has been shut in my dark cupboards are free to roam | D |
| Serenading me with their exotic tune of despair and self loathing | E |
| Where I'm free to revel in my darkest hours | F |
| A place where no warmth of love and comforting words can reach me | G |
| I long for those days twisted as it sounds | H |

Poet's note: It was written on a gloomy,rainy day when I was sad. The inspiration came in the form of all pains and pent up emotions that got released. This poem shows that people have their various battles even if they show you the cheerful outlook, there's always that dark underside in them.
