Alushta By Day Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBA CDDCEE

The mighty mountain flings its mist veil downA
With little flowers the gracious fields are brightB
And from the forest colors flash to sightB
Like gems that drop from off a Calif's crownA
Upon the meadows settles shimmering downA
A band of butterflies in rainbow flightB
Cicadas call and call in day's delightB
And bees are dreaming in a blossom's crownA
-
The waves beneath the cliff are thunder paleC
Now upward upward in their rage they riseD
And tawny are their crests as tigers' eyesD
The sun is focused on one white far sailC
And on blue shining deeps as smooth as glassE
Wherein slim cranes are shadowed as they passE
