Fashion Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBA CAAADD

See those resplendent creatures as they glideA
O'er scarlet carpet between footmen tallB
From sumptuous carriage to effulgent hallB
A dazzling vision in their pomp and prideA
See that choice supper needless cast asideA
Though worth a thousand fortunes counting allB
To them for whom no crumb of it will fallB
The starved and homeless in the street outsideA
-
Some day the little great god will decreeC
That overmuch connotes the underbredA
That pampered body means an empty headA
And wealth displayed the last vulgarityA
When selfish greed becomes a social sinD
The world's regeneration may beginD
