| The Cotton Tree where signs of freedom reign | C |
| Emancipation we cry for in our hearts | A |
| From our folks there came slaves | A |
| Where should we settle and cry for employment | D |
| We secured the future of the settlement and liberated ourselves | A |
| We are no more slaves | A |
| There came the time for us to live our lives | A |
| We no more lived up to the rule of paying taxes for our huts | A |
| for we are families not foes | A |
| Patriotic citizens we are to you Mama Salone | E |

| Land of the free | F |
| But the burden you beared has left us wondering | G |
| you seem to be sinking into violence and corruption | H |
| our economy is drowning we have no option | H |
| Boom there came Saybana and allies | A |
| Spitting venoms of a civil war | I |
| Old and young folks panic as they hear the sounds of a trigger | J |
| killing was something so meager | J |

| Portraying the natural beauty of your kingdom | L |
| A nation decorated with customs traditions and adorable cultures | A |

| Enjoy to the melodious tunes of the gumbe and bata | M |
| As we dance with our elegant country cloth ronko and lappa | N |
