In Remembrance Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCCCDD

In the eclipses of your soul and when you cryA
O God give more of rest and less of nightB
My words may rest you and mayhap a lightB
Shall flash from them bright o'er thy spirit's skyA
Then think of me as one who passes byA
A few brief hours a golden August dayC
We met we spake I pass fore'er awayC
Let ev'ry word of mine be golden rayC
To brighten thy eclipses and then wilt prayC
That he who passes thee shall meet thee yetD
In the Beyond where souls may ne'er forgetD
