Hope Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABB CBCB DEDE FGFG HBIB JKJK

Thine eyes are dimA
A mist hath gathered thereB
Around their rimA
Float many clouds of careB
And there is sorrow every everywhereB
-
But there is GodC
Every everywhereB
Beneath His rodC
Kneel thou adown in prayerB
-
For grief is God's own kissD
Upon a soulE
Look up the sun of blissD
Will shine where storm clouds rollE
-
Yes weeper weepF
'Twill not be evermoreG
I know the darkest deepF
Hath e'en the brightest shoreG
-
So tired so tiredH
A cry of half despairB
Look at your sideI
And see Who standeth thereB
-
Your Father HushJ
A heart beats in His breastK
Now rise and rushJ
Into His arms and restK
