A Reverie ["did I Dream Of A Song? Or Sing In A Dream?"] Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCBBDBBDEEAFFGGHAI IJKKJLL

Did I dream of a song or sing in a dreamA
Why ask when the night only knowethB
The night and the angel of sleepC
But ever since then a music deepC
Like a stream thro' a shadow land flowethB
Under each thought of my spirit that growethB
Into the blossom and bloom of speechD
Under each fancy that cometh and goethB
Wayward as waves when evening breeze blowethB
Out of the sunset and into the beachD
And is it a wonder I wept to dayE
For I mused and thought but I cannot sayE
If I dreamed of a song or sang in a dreamA
In the silence of sleep and the noon of nightF
And now even now 'neath the words I writeF
The flush of the dream or the flow of the songG
I cannot tell which moves strangely alongG
But why write more I am puzzled soreH
Did I dream of a song or sing in a dreamA
Ah hush heart hush 'tis of no availI
The words of earth are a darksome veilI
The poet weaves it with artful graceJ
Lifts it off from his thoughts at timesK
Lets it rustle along his rhymesK
But gathers it close covering the faceJ
Of ev'ry thought that must not partL
From out the keeping of his heartL
