| in the voice of the surf | I |
| or leaping over the swells | J |

| I moved my feet and turning from the wind | F |
| that ripped sheets of sand | F |
| from the beach and threw them | L |
| like seamists across the dunes | M |
| swayed as if the wind were taking me away | N |

| falls out of being | O |
| so I Ezra went out into the night | F |
| like a drift of sand | F |
| and splashed among the windy oats | P |
