How Rich That Forehead's Calm Expanse Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCBCDEDEFFGGHHIJHH J

How rich that forehead's calm expanseA
How bright that heaven directed glanceA
Waft her to glory winged PowersB
Ere sorrow be renewedC
And intercourse with mortal hoursB
Bring back a humbler moodC
So looked Cecilia when she drewD
An Angel from his stationE
So looked not ceasing to pursueD
Her tuneful adorationE
But hand and voice alike are stillF
No sound 'here' sweeps away the willF
That gave it birth in service meekG
One upright arm sustains the cheekG
And one across the bosom liesH
That rose and now forgets to riseH
Subdued by breathless harmoniesI
Of meditative feelingJ
Mute strains from worlds beyond the skiesH
Through the pure light of female eyesH
Their sanctity revealingJ
