Sonnets Iii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDEFGHIJJ

WHEN to the Sessions of sweet silent thoughtA
I summon up remembrance of things pastB
I sigh the lack of many a thing I soughtA
And with old woes new wail my dear time's wasteC
Then can I drown an eye unused to flowD
For precious friends hid in death's dateless nightE
And weep afresh love's long since cancell'd woeD
And moan th' expense of many a vanish'd sightE
Then can I grieve at grievances foregoneF
And heavily from woe to woe tell o'erG
The sad account of fore bemoaned moanH
Which I new pay as if not paid beforeI
nbsp nbsp nbsp But if the while I think on thee dear friendJ
nbsp nbsp nbsp All losses are restored and sorrows endJ
