To A Friend Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCADEEDCFFCDG

Go then and join the murmuring city's throngA
Me thou dost leave to solitude and tearsB
To busy phantasies and boding fearsC
Lest ill betide thee but 't will not be longA
Ere the hard season shall be past till thenD
Live happy sometimes the forsaken shadeE
Remembering and these trees now left to fadeE
Nor mid the busy scenes and hum of menD
Wilt thou my cares forget in heavinessC
To me the hours shall roll weary and slowF
Till mournful autumn past and all the snowF
Of winter pale the glad hour I shall blessC
That shall restore thee from the crowd againD
To the green hamlet on the peaceful plainG
