Shadows Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFEGHE IHJH KLML

Shadows are but for the momentA
Quickly pastB
And then the sun the brighter shinesC
That it was overcastB
-
For Light is LifeD
Gracious and sweetE
The fair life giving sun doth scatter blessingsF
With his light and heatE
And shadowsG
But the shadows that come of the life giving sunH
Crouch at his feetE
-
No mortal life but has its shadowed timesI
Not oneH
Life without shadow could not taste the fullJ
Sweet glory of the sunH
-
No shadow falls but there behind it standsK
The LightL
Behind the wrongs and sorrows of life's troublous waysM
Stands RIGHTL
