Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDDDDE CCFCC GHGHHG IJJIKKI LL

Singing she washedA
Her baby's clothesB
And one by oneC
As they were doneC
She hung them in the sun to dryD
She hung them on a bush hard byD
Upon a waiting bush hard byD
A glad expectant bush hard byD
To dry in the sweet of the morningE
-
The while her sonC
Her little sonC
Lay kicking gleefulF
In the sunC
Her little naked Virgin sonC
-
O wondrous sight Amazing sightG
The Lord who did the sun createH
Lay kicking with a babe's delightG
Regardless of His low estateH
In joy of nakedness elateH
In His own sun's fair lightG
-
And all the sweet sweet sweet of HimI
Clave to the bush and still doth cleaveJ
And doth forever more outgiveJ
The fragrant holy sweet of HimI
Where'er it thrivesK
That bush forthgivesK
The faint rare sacred sweet of HimI
-
So ever sweet and ever greenL
Shall Rosemary be queenL
