No Peace But A Right Peace Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDEFGDHHHHIHHJHKH LLHAMN

An inconclusive peaceA
A peace that would be no peaceA
Naught but a treacherous truce for breedingB
Of a later greater baser still betrayalC
NoD
The spirits of our myriad valiant deadE
Who died to make peace sure and life secureF
Thunder one mighty cry of righteous indignationG
One vast imperative unanswerable NoD
Not for that not for that did we dieH
They cryH
To give fresh life to godless knaveryH
To forge again the chains of slaveryH
Such as humanity has never knownI
We gave our lives to set Life freeH
Loyally willingly gave weH
Lest on our children and on theirsJ
Should come like miseryH
And now from our souls' heights and depthsK
We cry to you BewareH
Lest you defraud us of one smallest atom of the priceL
Of this our sacrificeL
One fraction less than that full libertyH
Which comes of righteous and enduring peaceA
Will be betrayal of your trustM
Betrayal of your race the world and GodN
