And each man his own Crew	B
But the Pilot knows the Unknown Seas	C
And He will bring us through	B

And from the vast uncharted waste in front	F
The mystic circles leap	G
To greet our prows with mightiest possibilities	C
Bringing us what	H
Dread shoals and shifting banks	I
And calms and storms	J
And clouds and biting gales	K
And wreck and loss	L
And valiant fighting times	M
And maybe Death and so the Larger Life	N

For should the Pilot deem it best	O
To cut the voyage short	P
He sees beyond the sky line and	Q
He'll bring us into Port	P
	-
And maybe Life Life on a bounding tide	R
And chance of glorious deeds	S
Of help swift born to drowning mariners	E
Of cheer to ships dismasted in the gale	T
Of succours given unasked and joyfully	U
Of mighty service to all needy souls	V
	-
So Ho for the Pilot's orders	E
Whatever course He makes	W
For He sees beyond the sky line	X
And He never makes mistakes	W

And maybe Golden Days	Y
Full freighted with delight	Z
And wide free seas of unimagined bliss	A2
And Treasure Isles and Kingdoms to be won	B2
And Undiscovered Countries and New Kin	C2

For each man captains his own Soul	A
And chooses his own Crew	B
But the Pilot knows the Unknown Seas	C
And He will bring us through	B
