Gratitude Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDEFGFGHH

If gratitude a poor man's virtue isA
'Tis one at least my sick soul can affordB
Bankrupt I am of all youth's charitiesC
But not of thanks No Thanks be to the LordB
Praise be dear Lady of all grace to youD
You were my mediciner my one sole friendE
When the world spurned me from its retinueD
And I am yours your bond slave to the endE
How shall I tell it you There was a timeF
When I was sordid in my unbeliefG
And mocked at all things less robust than crimeF
A convict in my prison house of griefG
But that is past Your pity was the keyH
Which sent me forth a broken man but freeH
