A New Pilgrimage: Sonnet Xv Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEFAGFGFHH

For thus it is You flout at kings to dayA
To morrow in your pride you shall stoop lowB
To a new tyrant who shall come your wayA
And serve him meekly with mock serious browC
While the world laughs I shall not laugh at youD
Your Bourbon Bonaparte or BoulangerE
Are foils to your own part of ing nueF
Which moves me most the moral of your playA
You have a mission in the world to teachG
All pride its level Poet prince and clownF
Each in your amorous arms has scaled the breachG
Of his own pleasure and the world's renownF
Till with a yawn you turn and from your bedH
Kick out your hero with his ass's headH
