Rhyme Scheme: ABCDC BEEE ECFC GHIH HJKJ

A
Little Bo Peep she lost her sheepB
And didn't know where to find themC
Let them alone they'll all come homeD
And bring their tails behind themC
-
-
Little Bo Peep fell fast asleepB
And dreamt she heard them bleatingE
But when she awoke she found it a jokeE
For they were still a fleetingE
-
-
Then up she took her little crookE
Determined for to find themC
She found them indeed but it made her heart bleedF
For they'd left their tails behind themC
-
-
It happened one day as Bo Peep did strayG
Into a meadow hard byH
There she espied their tails side by sideI
All hung on a tree to dryH
-
-
She heaved a sigh and wiped her eyeH
Then went o'er hill and daleJ
And tried what she could as a shepherdess shouldK
To tack to each sheep its tailJ
