Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHBIJKLLMNOLAP LQRLLSTUVWXY| One day Heaven summoned my name | A |
| And I went fly away | B |
| Confronting with DEATH I paused | C |
| For a while | D |
| Horrors of it closely I felt | E |
| I began to trembling | F |
| As DEATH unfolded its black | G |
| Face | H |
| I was unsure of what to say | B |
| Still I dared to ask | I |
| O DEATH why are you so brutal | J |
| Why do you snatch the beloved one | K |
| Upon hearing my voice He | L |
| Roared like the lion kneading me | L |
| And I tried | M |
| To loose the stranglehold | N |
| At my neck | O |
| He suffocated me brutally | L |
| It seemed heavy clouds came | A |
| Flying and perched on my head | P |
| Nothing I could see | L |
| But darkness all around | Q |
| Oh how terrible it was | R |
| Still I would insist on consistency | L |
| Of my confidence and I silently | L |
| Underwent all that pain | S |
| At sudden DEATH minimized | T |
| His tyranny on my spirit | U |
| And I got free from any kind | V |
| Of danger | W |
| I cried out with endless joy | X |
| And all because I dared | Y |
