Rondeau. - I Will Forget. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBAC DEDDEC

I will forget those days of mingled blissA
And dear delicious pain will cast from meB
All dreams of what I know can never beB
Even the remembrance of that parting kissA
I knew that some day it would come to thisA
In spite of all our sworn fidelityB
That I must banish even memoryB
And sorrowing learn to say nor say amissA
I will forgetC
-
I register this vow and am contentD
That it be so Ah me yet if the doorE
Shut on our heaven might be asunder rentD
Even now and I could see the way we wentD
I might retract my vow and say no moreE
I will forgetC
