| should I be surprised | B |
| no for this has happened before | C |
| yet as we stand | D |
| the feeling does not grow comfortably | E |

| it tears at the consciousness of myself | F |
| and tells me to do the same to everyone | G |
| I tell it no but my voice holds no power | H |
| the swivel chars spins me around and around like i'm in a playground | I |
| hoping it would spin away these emotions like a tornado | J |
| yet as the dim light falls on my face | K |
| and the caffeine trudges in my blood | L |
| I think a real tornado would be more helpful | M |

| a cyclone of confusion yet one I've grown accustomed to | N |
| yet as we stand | D |
| the feeling does not grow comfortably | E |

| I'm athletic and social with the power to learn fast | O |
| yet all I do is laze in bed I only attend when someone tells me to | N |
| yet the confinements of my bed feel like a prison | G |
| however a place that demands nothing | P |
| an empty place dirty or not but still providing warmth | Q |
| a place criticized harshly by family | E |
| yet the only place that feels like home | R |

| so as the poison seeps my veins | S |
| and yet as we stand | D |
