Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFGF HBHB

I heard an old farm wifeA
Selling some barleyB
Mingle her life with lifeA
And the name CharleyB
-
Saying The crop's all inC
We're about through nowD
Long nights will soon beginC
We're just us two nowD
-
Twelve bushels at sixty centsE
It's all I carriedF
He sickened making fenceG
He was to be marriedF
-
It feels like frost was nearH
His hair was curlyB
The spring was late that yearH
But the harvest earlyB
