| Silence knocked softly at my door | B |
| as the ticking hands stopped on the clock once more | B |

| searching the person I m meant to be | A |
| My fearful veins outgrew hopeful wings | C |
| yet even through concrete a small plant springs | C |

| What I had lost was not the same | D |
| yet loss alone cannot kill the flame | D |
| I built a fortress around my name | D |
| so even death could not stare the same | D |

| Building myself all over again | E |
| I ask the question again and again | E |
| Where am I What do I claim | D |
| And tell me what s truly in a name | D |
