Silence Asked My Name? Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB AACC DDDD EEDD

I spoke to the child I used to beA
piecing together the dreams we used to seeA
Silence knocked softly at my doorB
as the ticking hands stopped on the clock once moreB
-
It asked my name interrogating meA
searching the person I m meant to beA
My fearful veins outgrew hopeful wingsC
yet even through concrete a small plant springsC
-
What I had lost was not the sameD
yet loss alone cannot kill the flameD
I built a fortress around my nameD
so even death could not stare the sameD
-
Building myself all over againE
I ask the question again and againE
Where am I What do I claimD
And tell me what s truly in a nameD
