Caged Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB CD EF GH GE IJ KE

I'm now a sun bird leaning on the edgeA
Of the prison staircase weak and exhaustedB
-
As i inhaled the slavery scentC
My nose barricaded breathe breathe breatheD
-
I like a rainbow on the rainy skyE
Bearing the colors of grief sad and regressionF
-
I called upon the name of freedomG
In a daydream slumbers and in nightmaresH
-
The caged bird's words are as an empty drumG
And like an air crossing the empty skyE
-
My voice became inaudibleI
As my mouth is buried in the sands of an abandoned landJ
-
My hands were chained with metalsK
And my legs can't move to cross the fortresses whyE
