Kristi Thompson: I have always loved the poem, “Whippoorwill Time” since I was a young girl. I found it in an old book that was my Grandmothers. I have memorized it and always appreciated the serenity of the poem. Tonight I heard a Whippoorwill in the wild and it brought me back to the poem that I read and cherish as a child.
