Ludwig Wittgenstein Books, Ludwig Wittgenstein poetry book Wittgenstein Authors: O. K. Bouwsma, Ludwig Wittgenstein
Publisher: Hackett Publishing
Published Date: 1986
Categories: Philosophy
"Remarkable how well Bouwsma understood Wittgenstein's approach to philosophical problems and how intelligently he was able to recount Wittgenstein's discussions. The bits about sensation are especially good. And the asides about the other philosophers--e.g. Dewey, Russell, Anscombe--are, while not frivolous, gossipy and titillating." --Riley Wallihan, Western Oregon University

Ludwig Wittgenstein Books, Ludwig Wittgenstein poetry book Ludwig Wittgenstein: Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus Authors: Wilhelm Vossenkuhl
Publisher: Wiley-VCH
Published Date: 1997-06-15
Categories: Philosophy

Edgar Albert Guest Poem
The Killing Place
 by Edgar Albert Guest

We're hiking along at a two-forty pace
We 're making life seem like a man-killing race,
With our nerves all on edge and our jaws firmly set
We go rushing along; with our brows lined with sweat
And our cheeks pale and drawn every minute we dash,
And the goal that we 're after is merely more cash.

We 're out for the money, the greenbacks and gold,
...
