DaisyMayGaming: I am sitting on the Sofa there’s a TV in the corner. I am watching Major Nelson he is played by Larry Hagman. And he found a little bottle and out popped Barbara Eden, but she couldn’t show her belly button. All she did was blink.

PnictogenHorses: Larry Hagman is well chosen—if you want a generic Texan patriarch who thinks that he should be able to buy anything he wants...including JFK's absence from politics in 1964. Nixon, in Stone's movie, refuses to pick up the clearly dropped hint.
LoriteFrancisco: For years, Larry Hagman never spoke on Sundays. (Of course now, he's silent every day.) I don't think I could make it past breakfast.
rgtrendsetter: I went to a military school between the ages of six and 12 and later into the air force. You learn discipline and strength of character.

CameronYardeJnr: Larry Hagman using the massive interest in the 'Who Shot JR?' storyline to get a huge increase in salary is a story in itself. He went on tour, appeared at some high profile events getting his picture taken. Wasn't a studio idea, he did it to prove his worth. It worked!
Lorna_TVeditor: The "who shot JR?" storyline is one of the best in TV history. It made Dallas so huge in the UK that the episode revealing the culprit arrived at Heathrow under heavy security and it also made the 9 o'clock news.
Larry Hagman deserved everything he got for his superb portrayal.
unclebarkycom: Who's the biggest TV star (not movie star) to be born in Texas? For me, it's a horse race among Carol Burnett, Larry Hagman & Dan Rather, with Fess Parker finishing a bit out of the money. And the winner is . . . CB by an ear lobe over LH. How about you?
