Kibirige Desire Edward is a well known Ugandan poet and wordsmith with a bulk of successful poems.Desire was born on 14th March,2001 in Busia district to kalule Peter and Naume Tukahirwa in a family of five children. He attended his primary education at St.Jude primary school and Greens primary school where he continued to Lubiiri high school for his ordinary level and later joined St . Peter's college Tororo for his advanced secondary level. He had been writing poetry since the age of thirteen. While in school ,he won writing awards such as lantern poetry awards and his great leadership as student's leader many times.This further motivated him to keep pushing on his lifelong passion for writing.
