How does it feel
To be all alone
Surrounded by people
Familiar but unknown
The comfort of warmth
It evades you
That hollow sensation
It scares you
The heart still craves
What the head will shun
The coat of pride
Very hard to be undone
Easy to lose hope
Simple to let go
But the one who holds on
Is the one who'll grow
How does it feel
To be all alone
Look down and realise
You're on a f*cking throne

Poet's note: This poem was a message to myself; to show that there was still hope when all seemed lost. Loneliness and despair are the main themes, but motivated arrogance ends the last stanza.
