On Pitz Languard Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB C DEDE C AFAF C EGEG BABA

I stood on the top of Pitz LanguardA
And heard three voices whispering lowB
Where the Alpine birds in their circling wardA
Made swift dark shadows upon the snowB
-
First VoiceC
-
I loved a girl with truth and painD
She loved me not When she said good byeE
She gave me a kiss to sting and stainD
My broken life to a rosy dyeE
-
Second VoiceC
-
I loved a woman with love well triedA
And I swear I believe she loves me stillF
But it was not I who stood by her sideA
When she answered the priest and said I willF
-
Third VoiceC
-
I loved two girls one fond one shyE
And I never divined which one loved meG
One married and now though I can't tell whyE
Of the four in the story I count but threeG
-
The three weird voices whispered lowB
Where the eagles swept in their circling wardA
But only one shadow scarred the snowB
As I clambered down from Pitz LanguardA
