Leadership is a key issue for men today: leadership at home, on the job, and within the body of Christ. But what does the Bible have to say about leadership? And how can men become the type of leader described in God's Word? In this highly practical, intensely biblical volume, Ron Jenson tackles these and other crucial questions, offering men a template for employing strong leadership in personal life, home, church, community, and workplace. Married men and singles alike will be challenged and inspired as they learn about the ten core elements of leadership and how they can effectively integrate them into their lives.

The wartime naval career of a popular author/artist who joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 1938 as a cadet. He was a junior officer on HMCS Ottawa when that destroyer was sunk by a German submarine with great loss of life in 1941. Surviving this, he went on to serve on other RCN ships, including HMCS Algonquin, one of the first ships to open fire in the Normandy landings.Illustrated with Jenson's line drawings showing ships, life on board, uniforms, insignia, etc., the book is a record not only of how ships fought the Atlantic battles but of life on board, when men lived in close quarters in dreadful weather and in constant peril of U-boat attacks, all seen through the eyes of an engaging young officer.

LONGLISTED FOR THE WILLIAM HILL SPORTS BOOK OF THE YEAR 2018 This is my life, not the stuff you've seen, but the things you haven't. This is my childhood growing up in the West Country, my struggles, my doubts and my hopes. It's the people I've met in my seventeen years in Formula One, many of whom I've loved, some of whom I definitely haven't. It's the laughs I've shared, the battles I've fought, some on the track with rivals and friends like Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel. It's the pressure I struggled with as I closed in on my World Championship in 2009, it's the calm I felt every time I settled into the cockpit. It's my dad - the many times he saved me, the one moment he doubted me, the hole in my life he left me. It's everything in one go, the good days as well as the bad. A life lived not just as a racing driver but, ultimately, as a human being.

Lewis Carroll Poem
Life Is But A Dream
 by Lewis Carroll

A boat, beneath a sunny sky
Lingering onward dreamily
In an evening of July

Children three that nestle near,
Eager eye and willing ear,
Pleased a simple tale to hear
