Going in my day.
Upon the way,
A mouth spouting
Babble about my kin
Like it is a sin.
Animosity enough to
cause your doom
My kindness saves,
My fist from going zoom
Racism
Jairus Valeriano
(C) All Rights Reserved. Poem Submitted on 10/23/2021
Poet's note: I wrote this on October 23, 2021 because I had two racist moments that have happened to me 2 days in a row and I felt like I had to speak on this topic. I want to show my restraint towards the person that was racist and this means I hate that person.
