A Man Dreams That He Is The Creator Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDE FGFGHI JKJKLL

I sat in heaven like the sunA
Above a storm when winter wasB
I took the snowflakes one by oneA
And turned their fragile shapes to glassC
I washed the rivers blue with rainD
And made the meadows green againE
-
I took the birds and touched their springsF
Until they sang unearthly joysG
They flew about on golden wingsF
And glittered like an angel's toysG
I filled the fields with flowers' eyesH
As white as stars in ParadiseI
-
And then I looked on man and knewJ
Him still intent on death still proudK
Whereat into a rage I flewJ
And turned my body to a cloudK
In the dark shower of my soulL
The star of earth was swallowed wholeL
