The Lobster Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABABCC DDEEFF

Lobsters haven't any feetA
But they have lots of clawsB
Yet lobster meat is good to eatA
And this is strange becauseB
A dog is never good to eatA
And yet a dog has pawsB
And so have cats and so have ratsC
And so have other kind of bratsC
-
A lobster then so to speakD
Is my child an awful freakD
For if you get him in a stewE
He'll blush quite red and glare at youE
Yet if you eat much lobster saladF
It will make you very pallidF
