Say I like toysA
Christmas toysA
Remember when we were boysA
Long agoB
Then you were a kidC
Not a beauB
And on Christmas DayD
Oh sayD
We got up in the darkE
And had a jolly larkE
Round the fireF
The cold air was shockingG
As we peeped in our stockingG
And way down in the toeB
Now say this is soB
Dad placed a dollarF
Made me hollerF
Yes sirreeF
-
They were good to meH
Remember JimI
Mean trick I did himI
You know Jim was surlyH
Well I got up earlyH
Took his dollar outJ
And put a rockK
In his sockK
Gee he was madL
Went and told dadL
But dad he just laughedM
And saidN
Might's well be deadN
If you couldn't have funO
Then for spiteP
I kept that dollar 'til nightP
Funny seein' these toysA
Made me think of us boysA
But now GeeH
Christmas ain't like it used to beH
