The Time For Brotherhood Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDDECFFGHIIJH KKLMNOBM PJQRRBQ

When a fellow's feeling blueA
And is troubled through and throughA
With a melancholy feelingB
That he cannot seem to shakeC
When his plans have gone astrayD
And his hopes have slipped awayD
And he's standing at the crossroadsE
Wondering which one to takeC
That's the time to grab his handF
And to make him understandF
That he's grieving over triflesG
And his worries aren't worth whileH
That's the time to slap his backI
With a good old friendly whackI
That's the time he needs your friendshipJ
And the time he wants your smileH
-
When he's deep down in the dumpsK
And has known life's rocky bumpsK
When he's got the kill joy notionL
That his work no longer countsM
That's the time a word of cheerN
Sweetly whispered in his earO
Sets the heart of him to beatingB
'Till his spirit proudly mountsM
That's the time a glad 'Hello '-
Means far more than you may knowP
That's the time a sign of friendshipJ
Really does a brother goodQ
That's the time a word of praiseR
Lifts a fellow up for daysR
Sends him on his way rejoicingB
That's the time for brotherhoodQ
