A spendthrift True but not for self | C |

But for the ones he loved at home | D |

A spendthrift That he was for those | E |
Who weeping watched his eyelids close | F |

The best in life to them he gave | C |
Denied them nothing just to save | C |
For those at home his coin he blew | H |
I would the world more spendthrifts knew | H |
