The Price Of Joy Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDD EEFFGGHH

You don't begrudge the labor when the roses start to bloomA
You don't recall the dreary days that won you their perfumeA
You don't recall a single careB
You spent upon the garden thereB
And all the toilC
Of tilling soilC
Is quite forgot the day the firstD
Pink rosebuds into beauty burstD
-
You don't begrudge the trials grim when joy has come to youE
You don't recall the dreary days when all your skies are blueE
And though you've trod a weary mileF
The ache of it was all worth whileF
And all the stingsG
And bitter flingsG
Are wiped away upon the dayH
Success comes dancing down the wayH
